Tinta Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC — Italian White

Tinta Pinot Grigio is produced under the delle Venezie Denominazione di Origine Controllata — a mark of origin and quality from a leading Italian white-wine region. In the glass it is bright straw yellow, sometimes with faint coppery hints from the grape’s pink-grey skin. The nose is fresh: green apple, ripe pear and white peach, with white flowers, a touch of almond and, in cooler vintages, a subtle mineral line. The palate is precise and clean: lively acidity for freshness, light smooth structure and balanced savouriness, with a dry, refined, gently fruity finish. Ideal with grilled seafood, risotto or on its own.
